Our Services

Westchester Arc is the largest organization in New York’s Westchester County serving children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. We are a family-focused agency offering opportunities to individuals with disabilities such as autistic spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, mental retardation, cerebral palsy and learning disabilities. The agency supports social inclusion for people with disabilities because of its benefits to the entire community.

Family and Individual Services

Westchester Arc is committed to nourishing the personal potential of the individuals we serve. Our work is shaped by their abilities, choices and needs as they seek to become productive members of society.

Our offerings range from the early diagnosis of infants, to high school career counseling, to the adult world of work and independent living. The Charles R. Kingsley Life Planning Center can guide you through the process of exploring your loved one’s interests and options—in fact, it’s a great place to begin your relationship with Westchester Arc. When family members are no longer available to help with important life decisions, our guardianship services are a caring alternative.
