Westchester Arc was established in 1949 by parents seeking playmates for youngsters with developmental disabilities.

Westchester Arc is the largest agency in Westchester County serving children and adults with developmental disabilities such as autistic spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, mental retardation, cerebral palsy and learning disabilities.

We serve 1600 individuals with disabilities every day through services such as early intervention and pre-school, high school career counseling, job placement, residential services, recreation and guardianship.

We have 700 employees and a budget of over $40 million annually.
