Ways to Give

In 2002 the Westchester Arc Foundation was created to develop the resources to make Westchester Arc's vision a reality. Each year more than $1 million is raised from private, voluntary contributions throughout Westchester County and beyond.

Much of Westchester Arc’s funding for persons with developmental disabilities comes through federal sources such as Medicaid and Social Security, and from New York State sources such as the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and the State Education Department.

However, what keeps Westchester Arc out in front with new and innovative programs are the private and voluntary contributions that are given by individuals, businesses, philanthropic foundations, families and friends. We believe that donors are very special people and deserve to be kept informed about Westchester Arc. Please review the Donor Bill of Rights to learn our policies regarding donors.
