The corporate and business community of Westchester County and vicinity has been very generous to Westchester Arc through the years. Westchester Arc’s leading edge programs for persons with developmental disabilities are made possible through significant gifts from the private business sector. There are a number of opportunities for corporations and businesses to support the work of Westchester Arc throughout the year.

Targeted Giving
Many corporations and businesses prefer to target their contribution to a specific department or project of Westchester Arc. Opportunities exist to support vocational training programs, recreational opportunities, residential services and community services for persons with developmental disabilities.
For example, our Children’s School for Early Development is a state of the art institution for children of pre-school age who have special needs. More than 20% of the school’s support comes from private gifts.
Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership is another option. All members receive Westchester Arc’s quarterly newsletter “Lifetime” and are kept informed or all agency programs and events.
For more information about corporate giving, please contact Anne Sweazey, Executive Director, Westchester Arc Foundation 914.428.8330, ext. 4625, or send e-mail to asweazey@westchesterarc.org.
Westchester Arc is a qualified 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization under IRS code and private contributions are tax-deductible. The Westchester Arc Foundation will work with your corporation to make certain that your philanthropic efforts on behalf of persons with developmental disabilities are targeted to a project or program that best fits with the giving philosophy of your organization.
