This site is well organized and easy to use.  It is maintained by Dr. Len Leshin, a pediatrician and father of a young son with Down syndrome. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group, a worldwide group of doctors and other professionals dedicated to the care of people with Down syndrome. He wrote a chapter on pediatric health care in Down syndrome in the recently published book Down Syndrome: Visions for the 21st Century (Wiley-Liss, 2002). He is a member of the clinical advisory board of the National Down Syndrome Society.
